Heretical Illumination and the Thirteen Tenets of The Dead Heart is the first truly full-length album from Stringent. Representing over two years of work; collecting and creating sound, heavily meditating, editing, and lighting candles, this album marks the end of a chapter for Stringent.

Dark ambient worship mixes with found sound and noise, to create an audio backdrop for rites, rituals and liturgy. Intended to be listened to as a whole, from beginning to end, in order to attain complete sanctification, however each Verse and Act can be used independently to fulfil selective needs.
